In addition to abdominal and thoracic surgery, trauma, neurosurgery, vascular surgery and cardiac surgery are part of the comprehensive surgical curriculum in Year 6.
Organization of internships:
The aim of the internship is to reiterate the field of skeletal traumatology with a focus on preparation for the state examination in surgery; emphasis is placed on clinical application of knowledge and correlation with other clinical disciplines.

Place:
Teaching is undertaken on Tuesday – Thursday in the seminary room of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, connection corridor betw. A and B, floor P, building for adult patients.
Eventual actual amendment available at the secretariat in 4D in the paediatric building.

Hip, pelvic, and acetabular fractures

Trauma of spine, spinal surgery
Compartment syndrome, DVT
Hind foot, ankle, shin, and femur fractures
Day 3 (Thursday):
Wrist, elbow and shoulder fractures
